A day of giving.

Shaw and Partners is extremely proud to announce that our Institutional Team raised an incredible $502,000 for charity during this year’s Institutional Foundation Day, held on Thursday, 20 March 2025.

This initiative is one of the most special days on the Shaw and Partners calendar, during which all brokerage fees generated from institutional trades on the day are donated to charity. Institutional Foundation Day remains, without a doubt, our most impactful initiative since the Shaw and Partners Foundation was established in 2015.

Once again this year, the funds raised will be evenly distributed between the Sydney Children's Hospitals Foundation and the Australian Fund Manager Foundation.

The total includes a generous personal donation of $25,000 from Shaw and Partners CEO, Earl Evans, to mark this outstanding result: “Shaw and Partners is honoured to provide a platform that unites resources within the Australian financial services industry and to continue supporting the Fund Manager Foundation, which benefits numerous charitable organisations — including Odyssey House NSW, the Mirabel Foundation, the Reach Foundation, and Life Ed, to name a few.  Congratulations to Anthony Wilson and the Institutional Sales Team for making this happen year after year. An outstanding effort and something to be truly proud of — thank you.”

Now in its ninth year, this initiative alone has donated over $3.1 million to charity — a remarkable achievement made possible only by the generosity of Shaw and Partners’ institutional clients. Among the many institutional groups who participated this year, Shaw and Partners would like to extend sincere gratitude — in particular, to the top 10 contributors: Wilson Asset Management, Pendal Group, Lennox Capital Partners, Quest Asset Partners, Milford Asset Management, Firetrail Investments, First Sentier, 1851 Capital, and Eley Griffiths Group and Pengana Capital Group.  Their continued support has been instrumental in making Institutional Foundation Day a success.
