Unstoppable performance by Erebus Motorsport at the Tasmania SuperSprint News22 May 2023

As a proud partner, Shaw and Partners is thrilled to celebrate the superb performance of Coca-Cola Racing powered by Erebus Motorsport this past weekend at Symmons Plains Raceway. At the Tasmania SuperSprint, Will Brown and Brodie Kostecki were unstoppable, clinching several victories and podium finishes.

In Race 10, Brown transformed his third career pole position into a stunning race victory. Even with an early setback in the race, Championship leader Kostecki demonstrated commendable perseverance. An incident on lap 2 resulted in a rapid garage visit, but Kostecki was back on track in no time, wrapping up the race in P23. The team celebrated their fourth win of the season, marking another achievement in their racing journey.

The winning momentum continued into Race 11 as Kostecki and Brown secured top positions for Erebus. Kostecki kicked off from the pole and raced brilliantly to clinch the second place. Not far behind, Brown managed to secure the third place. Their collective efforts resulted in the team’s 50th Supercars podium, a significant milestone for Erebus Motorsport.

The excitement escalated in Race 12 with Kostecki powering to a Sunday pole-double, with Brown just a breath away in P2. Right from the start, Brown sprinted past his teammate, taking the lead, and raced to the finish line in a dominating fashion. Despite some tire-related struggles, Kostecki displayed commendable grit and claimed the last spot on the podium in P3.

Will Brown's stellar performance has advanced him to 2nd place in the Driver's Championship, tailing his teammate Brodie Kostecki. The Erebus team still maintains their lead in the Teams Championship by 276 points over Red Bull Ampol Racing.

As the series moves towards the Darwin Triple Crown on June 16-18, Shaw and Partners eagerly awaits more spectacular performances from the Coca-Cola Racing team.
