Shaw and Partners brand ambassador Jemma Smith crowned World Champion! News10 Oct 2022

Huge congratulations to Shaw and Partners Brand Ambassador Jemma Smith on winning the 2022 ICF Ocean Racing World Championships in Portugal during the weekend. Jemma took out the win in the Women Open category finishing the 19.5km long downwind course in 1:26:05 almost a minute and a half ahead of 2019 champion Danielle McKenzie (1:27:31) in second and defending champion Michelle Burn (1:28:14) in third.

 

Really proud to be associated with such an amazing athlete and always great to see the Shaw and Partners colours on display, especially in an international setting!

 

The next big appointment in the Ocean Racing calendar is the Shaw and Partners WA Race Week, 19-26 November in Perth, where hundreds of the world’s best paddlers will compete in five big races for a massive $260,000 prize money.
