Shaw and Partners acted as Lead Manager for CXL’s $8.0 million initial public offering (IPO) with a listing market capitalisation of $65.0 million.
Today, the listing of Calix Limited (CXL) came on at a 22.6% premium above the issue price of $0.53 per share. The stock traded as high as $0.72 throughout the course of the day, closing its first day on the ASX at $0.63 (up 18.9%).
Calix is a multi-award-winning Australian technology company that is developing new processes and materials to solve global challenges. The core technology is a world-first, patented "kiln" built in Bacchus Marsh, Victoria that produces "mineral honeycomb" - very highly active minerals.
Calix is using these minerals, which are safe and environmentally friendly, to improve waste water treatment and phosphate removal, help protect sewer assets from corrosion, and help improve food production from aquaculture and agriculture without anti-biotics, fungicides and pesticides.
