Shaw and Partners Foundation makes a $10 000 Donation to Cure Brain Cancer Foundation Foundation01 Dec 2016

On Thursday 1 December, Shaw and Partners Sydney staff dressed up in their Great Gatsby best for the 1920’s Prohibition Christmas Party. Held at the iconic, Marble Bar at the base of the Hilton Sydney, staff enjoyed live music, a performance from a duo of professional Charleston dancers, tarot card reading and a cigar or two.

Co-Chief Executive Officers, Earl Evans and Allan Zion personally donated $5 000 for the best dressed. This amount was matched dollar for dollar by the Shaw and Partners Foundation to total $10 000.

First place for best dressed received $5000, second place $3 000 and third place $2 000; the spoils of which were to be donated to the recipients’ charities of choice.

The Shaw and Partners Foundation was delighted to make a donation of $10 000 to Cure Brain Cancer Foundation, raising much needed funding for brain cancer research, advocacy and awareness in Australia.
