River to Rooftop - Brisbane Foundation09 Sep 2016

On Friday 9 September, 10 climbers from the Shaw and Partners Brisbane office swapped their work shoes for their runners to take part in the 2016 River to Rooftop charity run.

The River to Rooftop is a heart-pounding run up1,040 stairs to level 55 of the incredible One-One-One Eagle Street building in the city’s CBD.

All funds raised will go towards helping the Mater Foundation research prostate cancer and explore the relationship between cancer and genetics.

Rick Terpstra and Phillip Toop from our Brisbane office were the second and third largest individual fund raisers and, with $5,904 raised, the Shaw and Partners Brisbane office came third, raising more money than the likes of KPMG, EY and BOQ.

A big thank you to all our staff, their clients and the Shaw and Partners Foundation for matching dollar for dollar, to donate a total of $10,188 to the Mater Foundation.
