Shaw and Partners Foundation raises $33,000 for MS Foundation18 Jun 2018

On Sunday 17th June 2018, seven Shaw and Partners Brisbane staff and Advisers dusted off their lycra and competed in the MS Brissie to the Bay Ride in Brisbane.

The team comprised of James O’Kane, Kris Ridgway, Peter Bickel, Rick Terpstra, Luke Koekoek, Shayne Gilbert and Nicole Zell covered a cumulative distance of 425kms between them.

The MS Brissie to the Bay bike ride has been part of the Brisbane cycling scene for over two decades; with riders raising money to help change the lives of Australians living with Multiple Sclerosis (MS) and other chronic, progressive neurological diseases.

With a matching contribution from the Shaw and Partners Foundation, together the team raised in excess of $30,000 for MS, making them the third largest fundraiser amongst all competitors. Special mention to Rick Terpstra who raised $10,540.

Shaw and Partners Foundation’s Chairman, Cameron Duncan, congratulated the MS cycling team for completing the ride and raising much needed funds for such a worthy cause.
