On Tuesday 12 July, Shaw and Partners Sydney staff had the wonderful opportunity to volunteer at the Hope Hospitality Foundation kitchen.
Our team, including Fiona Burton, Brittany Hughes, Angela Holstein, Amanda Graham, Anastasia Hanna, Charlie Khuu, Jon Taylor, and Stephen Thomas, came together to support this incredible cause.
Hope Hospitality Foundation, founded by renowned Australian chef Neil Perry during the challenging months of 2020, is dedicated to providing nutritious and wholesome meals to vulnerable individuals in our community.
Each week, they prepare 5,000 meals to feed hungry Sydneysiders through their extensive network of partner organizations, which includes family support services, indigenous support services, homeless support services, women's and men's support groups, vulnerable youth programs, mental health services, asylum and CALD (Culturally and Linguistically Diverse) communities, aged care services, and disability services.
Our Shaw and Partners team of volunteers packed and labelled 788 meals that were later collected and distributed to Hope’s network of organisations and charities across Sydney.
At Shaw and Partners, we believe in the power and importance of giving back, which is why we established the Shaw and Partners Foundation in 2015.
The Foundation serves as a platform for greater participation in community service and aims to strengthen communities through financial support, volunteering, and skills sharing.
The Shaw and Partners Foundation has raised and donated over $8 million to charity since inception.
